Awesome job OP. Looks amazing Love Thai food, but have never cooked it myself. Will be trying soon.

Are those cherry tomatoes? I’ll be planting tomatoes soon and am trying to decide what kinds to go with.

Should cook the meat separately then add it back at the end.  Gets better color and avoids overcooking the vegetables.

I made a shrimp and cauliflower stirfry tonight

i was out of fresh ginger but i had a tube of diced ginger from aldi

oyster sauce, soy, garlic, ginger, red thai chili paste, shot of fish sauce,  sesame oil & brown sugar

it was kinda salty so i gave it some oj
it was kinda not spicy so i gave it a shake of red hot sauce

i steamed the cauli with baby bokchoi
woked the shrimp in olive oil with white onion

served it over brown rice medley from tjs

Looks pretty typical of stir-fry. The veggies are supposed to absorb the juices of the cooking meat and vice versa. Fajitas is not stir-fry.

Didn't know that was a thing, but I guess the skin isn't hurting anything.

Do it like that, and you can scrape it off with a butter knife.

Noted. Thanks.

But why?

The beef was perfect.  None of the veggies were over cooked.

Cooking the beef in the veggies steams the beef from the moisture in the veg. Cook the beef to get some Mallard effect, remove, cook veg, add beef, then sauce it up.

Or, you can get a wok burner (> 100,000 BTU) and let it rip.

We've got a 200,000 BTU outdoor burner we use and have been getting fantastic results.

Can you get the wok hotter? Looks like it could have used a bit more heat.
