Used to love it until Celiac took it away from me. At least I can still eat black Jelly Belly beans, but I swear drugs would probably be cheaper.

People who eat black licorice are unwashed heathens and should be banned from ARF and society in general. Fucking savages.

Quoted: My sister lived in Japan for a few years. She said Japanese folks hate black licorice. Also hate root beer. They don't like that anise or whatever that flavor is. View Quote I don’t have a drop of Japanese blood, as far as I know, but I also hate black licorice or anything with even a hint of anise or fennel. The mere thought of the stuff turns my stomach. Oddly enough the only soda that I don’t like is root beer, but I never consciously made the connection of any similarity in taste to licorice. Quoted: You can’t get the real deal anymore. The USDA says it’s no good for you because it depletes the potassium in your body so all the US candy manufacturers have dumbed it down. I used to buy the Haribo Wheels that were made in Germany from Amazon & they’re history too. View Quote @ElrodCod The storefront for this is in my city. They do about 70% of their business online. https://www.licoriceinternational.com/licorice/pc/home.asp I think the Haribo wheels are back. IF not check out the previous link they have some that are similar from Italy. Failed To Load Product Data |

Hi,
I never liked it as a kid but developed a liking for it as an adult. What I find especially good is licorice and milk chocolate together. Panda black licorice and Lindt milk choco. Mmmm, delicious! |

Is black licorice urban slang for something else?
I may be into it. You never know. |

I didn't for 55 years. Had a black licorice Jelly Belly recently, and it was pretty good. Changed my mind on it.

I hate black licorice. Candy corn is good and I usually get a bag every fall.

Went to a movie in Thailand in 1973. Snacks outside. My friend got what appeared to be licorice. Went in watched some Bruce Lee flick dubbed. Friend said licorice was not good and was on a string. We asked a local what it was and he said dried ox blood. My friend started trying to throw up.

The regular shapes are all good, they use a little different recipe for each, coins, cats, buttons are all good. The big diamonds and keys are made to be pacifiers/teethers for babies. I'm not a huge fan of the Australian style. Black vines are good. |

I’m not much of a sweets guy so I rarely eat candy and black licorice is pretty uncommon anyway but I don’t mind it, it’s pretty good but i can’t eat much of it
