Most of my family lives in Sarasota. My aunt and I were having lunch about 5 years ago and he was walking with his wife at St. Armands. He passed us and I snapped a pic and we discussed it as we ate. When we were finishing, he walked back by and my aunt started talking to him. He talked with us for about 10-15 minutes. Him and his wife were very cordial and nice. He said he had a plane and would regularly fly it from Sarasota to Illinois to shoot his show and fly it back.

I remember a couple friends in high school, for months they were talking about a big scheme to get on Jerry.. like, "Ok, we'll say so-and-so was your girlfriend and you let me move in because my parents kicked me out and then I banged her, but you were actually banging my mom and she really kicked me out to be with you, then my dad moved in with me and your ex.." etc. It was absolutely hilarious, and they wrote the whole script. Yes, it got made into an episode.
