Felt a bit rushed, but I enjoyed it.
Click To View Spoiler - Not sure how I feel about the Darksaber being destroyed, hopefully it's rebuilt. - Glad to see Grogu out of that ridiculous contraption and IG-11 restored to his former glory, great choice for a marshal - Din Grogu wielded the force this time without tiring himself out, helped Mando out quite a bit, should make the next season interesting - I don't know why, but I enjoyed watching Mando blast those imperial red guards rather than get into a 100% dedicated hand to hand fight with them - Will be interesting to see how they rebuild Mandalore from scratch. I suspect next season will be a lot of infighting amongst the Mandalorians again. eta: surprised to see no mention of Thrawn or any easter egg post credit scene |

Well, that was a course correction for the better.
Click To View Spoiler Still some dumb writing. "I don't have any weapons" Yeah because you left the two pistols behind, idiot. |

Again, I enjoyed it. Wrapped things up nicely.
Click To View Spoiler I'm still curious, even though I hate the sequel trilogy. Where the fuck was Mandalore as a planet and the Mandalorians as a people during the First Order bullshit? Disney is going to have to explain that. Either the First Order really wasn't a threat and the Mandalorians didn't give two shits. Or, the Mandalorians waged another civil war and removed themselves from the space census. Because either way, they're not mentioned at all in the sequel trilogy. |

what was the point of the mythosaur scene? It woke up when grogu was made apprentice because it meant something? It woke up because grogu talked to it? It was waking up by itself due to the return of the mandalorins in general? |

I was OK with it. Also was good at showing that you can put regular troopers in beskar, but they can't compete with trained Mandalorians in Beskar. I want more knee rockets...

I really, really liked that finale.
Click To View Spoiler No traitors makes me happy. And Axe redeems himself in my eyes. I'm so happy they didn't kill Mando or Grogu. I was really worried about that. The Gideon clones and the force ability - that turned out to be true! I wonder how Gideon was going to control them? I'n glad Grogu did some force stuff - I wish he would have force choked someone out I'm annoyed we don't get a resolution on the Armorer's identity. Although I was happy to see the 2 paths (helmets vs no helmets) working together. And wow were there a lot of misdirects that just didn't happen: no Mando traitors, no major character deaths, no connection to Maul's Mandalorians, no Boba Fett, no Fenn Rau, no Bo Katan riding the Mythosaur. I feel like that made the finale satisfying that there was no huge plot twist or upheval. Do we know if there will be a Mandalorian season 4? I was surprised by no "The Mandalorian and Grogo will return" tag or post credits scene. It kind of felt like goodbye to me. |
