Guns, at the rate your kids build airplanes, have you ever thought about sneaking in a LSA build kit and just claiming that's the project this year?

That is amazing.  I would frame that and hang it up in my house.

Parent: (looking around) Mr guns, you look like you've got another terrific project going on.  But I have just one question.
Mr Guns: Yeeessss?
Parent: Can my boy rivet?

How about seeing if you can get a mixture of red and black T shirts to put the design on? As in, almost a tie dye…

I love black shirts, but pets make them problematic.
Grey is the sweet spot in that regard

Grey for smoke, of course.

T-shirts in the color of the smoke jumper's bunker gear. That pale, buff, yellow.

We are still adjusting our forest fire tier in colors on the rocks, but we are ever closer to done, if I can keep my students from adding more texture after we remove some of it.  We have a slight disagreement about texture in some areas, and my leadership tends to do their own thing when I leave the room for a bit, then don't even bother to come up with an excuse, other than.....we did what we want.

You're teaching them to think outside the box, lead from the front, and show initiative...plus the age old adage, "it's better to ask forgiveness than permission!"

The high tail of the C-130 (and most other modern cargo aircraft) comes from paletizing cargo, and the C-130 tail has to be high enough for a truck to back up to the loading ramp and roll pallets directly from the truck into the plane.  The C-130 can also lower the ramp all the way to the ground and drive on small vehicles or even light artillery.  Compare this to pictures of airmen loading C-47s in the 2nd WW, box by individual box.

I think we got approval to get one installed, and see if it works as we are hoping.   My principal has been doing his best to get these installed.   It's not a building level problem that we are running into.

Evil is not conquered by kind words and good will something something.

Maybe have one of the more detail oriented students make a labeled map of the administration building?  You could reprint it and hand it out to ALL the art students as an example of how to do detailed work.
