Free shipping, too. Almost want to just for shits and grins, but it may also cause $500 worth of frustration getting it to run. |

Your dong it wrong, buy 3. Find the one that runs, sell the others off at a profit during the next panic.
|

I advise you to fire it remotely.
Does that answer your question? |

Had one very similar that I bought locally. Ran well, had the same O ring system that Remington uses on the 1187.
Got it zeroed with slugs and the Iowa State Patrol dumped all their shotguns. Wound up with 4 Wingmasters for $185 each and sold the Turkish gun. |

I have that same gun.
Runs fine along with the two other Turkish SG's I have. |
|
Got the pump version of the Turk shogggun and I have not been blown up yet. Spent $185 for the gun, background check and tax out the door. It holds 5 in the tube and one in the chamber and goes bang, not boom every time I pull the trigger.
Can't say how the semi-auto runs. That is a more complicated system. |
|
Why do people assume the Turks can’t make an auto shotgun that works?

If it's what I think it is, it's basically a clone of the Beretta 390 series. That seems to be a popular design with Turkish makers (I have the Weatherby version). They come in at all sorts of price points. For whatever reason that particular model didn't sell so it's getting clearanced out. Probably a decent rig.

If it's just a range toy that you want for the look of a Benelli or Beretta sure.
If used for anything serious please just pony up and get the real thing. |

I don't have THAT gun but I do have a cheap turkish 12ga that takes saiga mags. It's been rock solid reliable so far. It shoots high and low brass equally well and I have never had a failure to fire or a jam after hundreds of rounds. It's also reasonably well made. In fact for how cheap it was I'd say it was very well made.

One of the few times I've regretted a firearm purchase was a turkish semi auto shotgun. I wouldn't spend $75 on it.

If you're doing a round of clays here or there, or hunt dove a couple days a year, they're fine. If you're going to shoot high volumes of shells, run away.

I wish that I had the funds to get one. I bet it will run all day.
Price is sort of bad thing to equate with quality. If they sold it at the $399.99 price would it be a better shotgun? |

A price like that comes at a cost, usually quality control. You don’t understand anything about hyper inflation. The exchange rate is very favorable toward the USD at the moment. They are just trying to keep the heavily subsidized factories open. I got a few of the 1911’s and the quality is as good as Domestic American. I could find no flaws. The shotguns looked good too, though I haven’t shot them yet. I wish people could concentrate on Facts, rather than Emotion. ie. “The Barrel is made with a cast Zinc metal alloy which will fracture the third time you fire it”. - and then, back it up with a reputable link. |

Light weght aluminum receiver, plastic furniture, in 12 ga. ? I bet that thing is no fun to shoot rapidly.

Just spend that money on ammo You guys would truly be embarrassed? That’s Fascinating to me. I’ve got the best FFL around, and they do stock some very high end guns, but It’s never even entered my mind to be embarrassed to transfer cheap guns. In fact, I buy them on a whim, specifically Because the transfer is so cheap and easy. Maybe they talk about me behind my back. It’s not something I ever would have cared to think about. |

It's a decent shotgun. Turkey is in the middle of a currency crisis and that's why it's cheap.
But three or four of them to stash away. |
|
|
I couldn't resist. I have no need for this, but I also have no class. I'll let you know how it runs when I get it.

In my experience, the Turks can make good guns and sometimes do. I agree with the dude who said to buy three and hope one runs.
If price point was about 400-500 you may only need to buy two. |

I have a pump version and have shot 00 buck and slugs through it without issue. It kicks like a mule though. The Turks make some good guns- Stoeger, Caniks, Girsan, SAR/Sarsilmaz/EAA, Tristar, etc. and some large companies collaborated with them as well- Weatherby, CZ,etc., so they make good stuff.

In order to verify that, you will spend Beretta money. After you have verified that all 3 are trash, you will still be without a reliable shotgun. The manufacturer will have already moved on and rebranded to avoid the repercussions of making guns out of garbage. |

I still have shot my Turk 1911. Any bad stories on these? |
