Quoted: Sub doesn't know what a "major" update is... he's still new. This would fall under a very minor system issue fix. Rookies. /media/mediaFiles/sharedAlbum/476-342.gif View Quote |

What is this bullshit post number in the upper right hand corner that will allow people to claim page ownership more easily? Are you dumbing it down for the low IQ posters?

Quoted: "Somebody" fucked up the YouTube linking. Wink Wink Nudge Nudge. View Quote Actually items were related. File fix went up but servers weren't replicating properly. File got stuck and out of synch. Screwed up your caching. Tried multiple ways to force users to get new cached files, but some will need to clear cache on their devices manually, or wait. You can still use the long version of URLs (pull from the browser URL) until the file is updated on your device. |

Your load balancer should be able to fix that, just make an irule to modify content from static web server to client. That’s a load balancers job. Not just influence balancing/sticky, but influence client behavior. |

They don't follow rules on caching and grabbing new files they are supposed to. In short, phones suck. |

Real old school nerds just send it. Don't be a pushy.
Did a 10k device impacting change without testing after a week on the new job... the 2 guys with me shit their pants when I just started clicking through everything. 10k isn't anything when you've dealt with 110k environments... Don't screw it up. |

If you would have just done the needfull, none of this would have happened.

View Quote Web browsers on phones (especially on lower-bandwidth networks) intentionally will aggressively cache all requests. This is controllable, though... There are ways to force certain behaviors on the client to make them either request new files (cache miss) or not (cache hit). |

Right now, just updating a lot of servers, honestly. Patches, is all. If all goes well (and it has, thus far) - you won't even notice.
