I had to rebuild the side draft Strombergs on the wife's uncle's '74 XKE Jag with the V-12.  Pulled one carb off, rebuilt the rest of them in place.

Not really much to it just a brake can stroke rod with the plate cut off and the Clevis it comes with with a couple of bolts instead of pins.

When I was in 1AD, we had a collection of bent to shit wheel cages at the back of the motorpool. They had failures about once a month. I saw enough to make me pucker any time I was on the road next to a vehicle running split rim wheels.
