I drove one yesterday at a lot that had a bunch of "used" ones all with under 1k miles lol. I don't remember the trim level of it but it had the 4cyl, leather interior, soft top, 360 degree camera etc.
It was $78k Drove home in my 18 F150 instead lol Here's a pic of the lot with my kid who loves these things. Attached File |

Quoted: Came to post this. The IFS vs SFA is purely subjective. Even IF ifs is superior one way, SFA beats it another so its a wash. Far as the other things he's list, Jeep finally stepped up to the plate on those offerings. The main reason I was excited for the Bronco was the competition jeep has gone so long without. Jeep turbo engine seems a tad anemic compared to the fords turbo though. View Quote Not really. The Wrangler and it’s SFA is a better pure off-roader. But the majority of these vehicles will spend 99% of their lives on road - and the Bronco is significantly better on road while only being slightly worse off road. |

Quoted: 2022 Ford Bronco 4 door with 2.3 auto here. One of the best new Vehicles Ive owned. Base model with Sasquatch and Aux switches. Technically its the wifes and she loves it. It went on a 3 out of 10 trail near us and laughed at it. Awesome approach, breakover and departure angles, and its the 4 door long wheelbase. Vaughn Gitten Jr took a Crush Bronco to Moab and killed the Hardest trail there with essentially a stock Sasquatch 2.7 4 door. Its unfortunate that the shortages have hit a launch like the Bronco very hard, as well as a certain run of 2.7TT V6s having valves causing catastrophic engine failure. But, with a sample size of 1, our Bronco is fucking awesome. Unless you need other shit in the higher trim levels, Base with Sasquatch is all you need. View Quote Hardest trail in Moab....No,not by a long shot. Kia Tellurides and Subarus have completed that trail.Rental Jeep Wranglers with first time drivers complete that trail weekly. |

Quoted: -more hp/torque with similar mpg -better on road manners and smoother ride due to ifs. -better tech such as 360 degree cameras, 12 inch screen, trail turn assist, electronic sta bar disc. -Sasquatch package with 35s, improved suspension and gearing available for ALL trim levels. good enough so far? View Quote Meh I can live without all of that junk. But I do hope that bronco sales eat into jeeps profits enough to hurt. I’d like to see Jeep offer the rubicon as an option and not a trim level, it should have been that way since 2003 I’d be happy with either a Jeep or bronco 2 dr factory stripped down off-roader - 35s and lockers f+r and appropriate gear ratio, I’m fine with t case gearing from 2.7-4.3, but a factory 4 speed t case would be amazing. Manual transmission, base model engine is fine. No carpet maybe factory bed liner, rear seat delete, spare tire carrier delete, marine grade vinyl seats, half doors, soft top. The only real luxury things I want would be a simple radio, heat, ac, and factory upfitter switches |

Quoted: How are the cam phasers and timing chains on those? I would never buy another Ecoboost anything after my last experience. Watching the dealership clowns pretend that it wasn’t actually happening was also amusing. View Quote Similar experience with my Ecoboost Flex It was faster than anything it’s size had a right to be but had an intermittent drivability issue they couldn’t figure out until it went out of warranty. Imagine that, 3K outside of warranty they figured out it was a timing chain issue and wanted $1400 to fix it. Called Ford and told them this had been an ongoing issue that the dealer couldn’t figure out while it was still under warranty. They said tough shit. Had they offered to even split the cost with me I would have been happy but they said nope, not our problem. I told them that after owning Fords for over 30 years I would never own another. They didn’t care so I fixed it and traded it on an Acura that while boring was reliable as hell. Traded that on my Gladiator and never looked back. Fuck Ford |
