If it stays contained to Israel, and more specifically Gaza, there’s no way it can last very long. Even if Israel clears Gaza house by house and street by street, the Gaza Strip is still only 141 square miles. Houston city limits are 6 times that size. Gaza is basically a suburb. Ukraine is 233,062 sq mi, almost identical to the entire STATE of Texas

IDF is going to crush Gaza into rubble and force all of them to flee to Egypt as refugees, or starve to death in what’s left. I believe Bibi when he says he’s going to make sure this is the last time. Only way is to destroy it all and make it a permanent buffer zone.

"I appeal to the international community so that at least once they unanimously make a fair decision regarding the situation in Palestine. I appeal to the leaders of Muslim countries - create a coalition and call on those whom you call friends, Europe and the entire West, so that they do not bomb civilians under the pretext of destroying militants.

We support Palestine. And we are against this war, which, unlike other conflicts, can develop into something more.

I myself have been to Israel. And our peaceful delegation experienced first-hand attempts at overt provocation. Therefore, I call for a stop to both the war and any form of escalation of the situation. If necessary, our units are ready to act as peacekeeping forces to restore order and counter any troublemakers."

1,650 D9s.

Wow, no shit? You mean we can't completely block all channels of sale that don't fall under any sort of our jurisdiction?

There's no bullshit to believe, it is a fact. The US has said policy and that is what Yellen is referring to. Whether we can completely enforce it everywhere has nothing to do with anything.

Yup.  That's exactly right.  The Shia minority sees a moment when muslims across the world are angry and ready for a fight.

They wanted this.  They want to take leadership.

And you of all people know about the deal between China and Iran worth I think about $40 billion.

ETA:$400 billion.  Nice typo on my part.  That's 16 billion a year.  For Iran.

To be fair, we haven't actually tried to win the WAR.  We've tried to play nice at the expense of material and blood.

We should remember how the war is won: by crushing your enemy wherever they may be.  Not by letting politicians make "tactical" decisions.

If you are avoiding certain areas because of perceived costs, the enemy will figure that out and start placing their stuff where you aren't going to hit.

It has happened in every single war we've lost.  Our generosity is what dooms us to failure.
