Quoted: Ummm. Pretty sure not. Lasers emit on a much narrower spectrum. Which is why you can see an IR LED as a red glow looking directly at it with a mk 1 eyeball, but not an IR laser. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Probably a FP PEQ. They're definitely better performance than the other options, but you can't buy them from a retailer or send them in for warranty work. The D2 has slaved IR/vis green lasers and an aimable LED illuminator. The 9007 has an IR laser and an aimable LED illuminator. The PEQ has slaved IR/vis lasers and an aimable/focusable laser illuminator (I believe). By mixing laser/illuminator power settings on the PEQ you can get it so you have a usable laser and illumination at any useful range, but can up the laser/illum to burn through photonic barriers if they present themselves. A laser is a LED Ummm. Pretty sure not. Lasers emit on a much narrower spectrum. Which is why you can see an IR LED as a red glow looking directly at it with a mk 1 eyeball, but not an IR laser. Technically, he's right. The vast majority of lasers these days, especially in consumer products (like IR devices) are specialized light emitting diodes. Now, they'll have an adjustment pin generally, which most LEDs don't have, but that doesn't stop them from being another form of LED. |

Now, because of the narrow beam of a laser, unlike your normal LED, you probably wouldn't see the glow unless you were turning yourself into a pirate

Oh, good, it was only a hunting round that hit the Hill Cumorah visitor's center. No way a .308 could hurt anyone like those really really dangerous 5.56 rounds. 5.56 is 5.252 more deadly. (The caliber was mentioned on the tv news that Wodstock's coworker saw.)
https://www.fingerlakesdailynews.com/2022/06/08/1466308/ This is an area where Wodstock's parents would visit on occasion. |
