Quoted: I'm currently on the hunt for a Bisley 44 mag, a pre-lock 4" 686/586, and a 4 inch model 65. I'm going to hit a gun show next weekend and hopefully find one off the list. I could bid on gunbroker, but I sure like to prowl around locally and see what I can scrounge up. View Quote I had my Estimated OTD price will be a grand. |

Quoted: that was the first revolver I ever bought, it sat in the gun case for weeks at $225 back around 2010. I finally bought it as a trainer, since I had no revolver. It's in 98% condition. the cylinder release latch sticks hard if it sits for a while. Takes two thumbs to get it to pop free, then it's fine for a few days. I don't know why. View Quote Could be old grease. I've heard that it can get hard and stick after a couple decades. |

I bought a 4 inch 686 from a local arfcommer for a great price, even allowing for the lock. Then a LGS had a 6 inch no dash 686 and the Bond. Then I found a 586 that was priced $150 low.
