I view all of these cases with a very jaundiced eye and, sadly, women have brought it on themselves. How so? By dragging out convenient claims against celebrities years, decades after the alleged event. After all this time, we're reduced to "he said, she said." Any evidence is tainted.

I believe that many, many of these cases, even like with Bill Cosby, the girls were willing participants and regret it years later.

The way I understand memories is that you recreate them in your head. It isn't like a tape that you can replay. To actually recall such a detail, you would have actually thought about it around the time it happened. In other words, while the event was recent, she would have had to think about it and wonder to herself "did it go in all the way?".

If it really happened, I'd think she would want it out of her head. She wouldn't be asking herself such questions. At least that's how it seems to me.
