I've used the Cash for Keys program before. Maybe your parents will as well. It is interesting that you've lived with your folks for at least the last 14 years and now they are trying to get away from you. |

In cases like this I recommend that the child threaten the parents with confinement to the shittiest nursing home once they are old and unable to care for themselves. It usually does the trick to bring the parental units around.

You need to start reading. You can make this VERY difficult for your parents if you want to. No one will touch that property if it's in the middle of a legal battle.

It was all good when your parents provided you a free spot to build a house.
It was all good when you claimed that this house was a shop to avoid the cost and rules of building an occupied dwelling. It was all good when you weren't paying any property taxes for fourteen years. Now all the sudden it's a problem? Sounds like you need to move your stuff out of the new property owners shop and find a place to live. |

How the fuck did you build a home on a piece of land that isn't deeded to you?
Did you finance the 175k? The fuck you did, a lending institution would've never financed the build on someone else's deeded land. Did you pay cash? Bullshit, if you did then you can affored to sue the fuck out of your parents. Did your parents build it and finance it?
