I think most of us were generally too young to fully appreciate The 80's but our childhoods really spanned from the late 80's to the 90's and that line's blurred in memory.

You're right.  Born in '82, so I guess my childhood spanned a couple decades.  Late 80s/early 90s were what I consider my quintessential childhood years

The problem is that the "90's" kids had a very different experience, so we don't claim that stuff.

You can keep your power rangers, tomagachi's, and pokemon.

Power rangers were barely past my prime.  I remember my baby brother (born in '85) watching them and I was thinking "wtf, this shit is gayyyyy"

TMNT and inspector gadget though... thats more my era.  Very narrow scope of relatability when discussing pop culture and childhood eras.

I was in my 20's for most of the 80's but my mother gave me a Black Swatch like this for my birthday. The damn thing lasted for more than twenty years. I finally killed it by wearing in a hot tub with some kinky Korean chick.

C64 was my first PC as well. Kept me sane in Tunisia and I sold the 1541 floppy drive for more than I paid for it when I left.

Anyone else hide a copy of Artworx Strip Poker from their parents by marking the disk as something else?

I was in HIgh School in mid-80’s and worked at a video store with VHS and Beta rentals - great job!

I kick myself at all the original movie posters we had for advertising that went unclaimed and just tossed.

Evil guys are hot. It’s their don’t give a fuck attitude.

I despise fruity guys, but I still love all Alan Rickman characters, Kylo Renn’s ugly ass, Gary Oldman, Lucius Malfoy, Loki, that creepy kraut from Inglrious Bastards, Tim Curry OMG that Legend Demon…

The not giving a fuck and driving on towards the goal is supremely alpha.

If Kylo or that Legend demon put a baby in you, that baby would be the best protected and provided for because daddy would let nothing stop him. Not morals or laws or other gods. Deep down, we want to know a man will fight dirty for us.

I get the attraction as explained, but this is how you end up with single mothers.

Unless you think knocking someone up will magically transform the evil, not giving a fuck dude into prime parenting material.

Thiscoworker said she found David Bowie as the Goblin King so sexy and hot in Labryinth. I was like why? he wore makeup wigs and spandex. I still struggle to understand women and what they like.

I was focused on the black Irish chick Jennifer Connely.
