Someone please help my wife answer this math question.  I can't figure it out to save my life.

The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the third.  If a triangle has one side that is 24 inches and a second side that is 3 inches less than twice the third side, what are the possible lengths for the second and third side?

The second side is between ? and ? inches and the third is between ? and ? inches.

Help!!!

Thanks

24< x + (2x-3)

or could be

x< 24 + (2x-3)

or could be

2x-3< x + 24

the rest is up to you

9 < third side < 15
27 < second side < 51

That should be right but then again I'm kinda dronk
