Beautiful!
Congrats on getting it back.
Please tell us about it.
Engine? Transmission?
Just noticed it's a short bed.
Talk about a popular truck.

Thanks,

It’s got a fuel injected Powertrain from a 93 mustang GT. 5.0 with AOD 4 spd auto.

Yeah, the short beds are extremely popular and harder than ever to find one with good bones.  They weren’t too popular before Gas Monkey built KC’s green truck.  Since then though, aftermarket support is a lot better.

Fun fact:  the green truck KC built on Fast and Loud was what made me fall in love with these trucks but it was long before Gas Monkey.  KC and I were best friends in HS.  I went to KCs dad’s body shop with him after school one day and we did burnouts in his 68. His truck didn’t even have an exhaust manifold on the passenger side at the time, lol.  We parked our trucks side by side in the HS parking lot for quite a while.  It’s been awesome to watch him make an amazing career out of these trucks.

The rest of the brake parts, wheels, tires, and a few odds and ends should all be delivered by end of august.  Hopefully the thread hasn’t been archived by then. I’ll post updates and pictures.

The goal is to have a 5.0 coyote and 6 spd auto done by spring.

This was after the first initial wash to get the barn dust off of her and one light application of F11 Top Coat.

I have a 1970? F100 that has been in storage for 15 years.  It was my grandfathers.  It was in a barn and not driven for the last 7 years of his life.  It was a farm truck.  Not abused, but nothing special either.  Are they worth anything?  It has the 6-cylinder engine.

Short bed or long bed?

I didn't know there was two different beds back then.
Whatever the common one is.

Over 90% of the late 60s f100s were long beds.

Long enough for a full sheet of plywood.

1,3, and 4 look like crown Vic swaps. 2 is probably a fat man or QA1 mustang 2.

Mine will sit just a tad lower than crown Vic swap.
