Never owned the original TMNT but played it at a friend's,
would always get smashed by the foot truck on the street. Terrible. The arcade game was way better in every way. My 8yo son and I still brawl in Double Dragon II sometimes.. the amount of times I've played that game over the years, I dont even wanna know. Never get tired of it.

So when I was a kid I couldn't afford turtles for nes but I found I had enough for the comadore 64.
It used a fucking Atari controller with one button. You tapped it for melee and held it to jump. It was unplayable garbage. |

One of my pet peeves is replaying video game sections against my will. I.E. I hate dying, unless it's in something like Arma or Borderlands. I was just playing Fallout using a mod that saves every 20 seconds and it still pissed me off
Every now and then I get an urge to fire up an emulator to play some classic Nintendo. Usually about 30 seconds later I remember why gaming sucked back then. |
