Kind of a boring trade deadline… the strong get stronger and … meh.

The Wings get a guy I’ve never heard of and stash him in Grand Rapids immediately. Not that I expected a big move or anything, but I figured Berggren and Holl were probably headed out of town.

Yeah, I figured there would be some more movement than that but I guess that's why I am not a GM and Yzerman is.

I did see an interview where he said he is really happy with the depth we currently have.

I don’t disagree… we have an okay enough team that hopefully will give another team fits in the playoffs but assumes they can make it in.

Hopefully there are some good free agents to mix in during the off season. We traded our only real gritty guy (Kostin) away.

The Penguins were going to give out a Jagr bobblehead to everyone tonight.

The entire shipment was stolen.

Local news link has aids..google yourself.

The Penguins announced today that the shipment carrying the Jagr bobbleheads for tonight’s game has been stolen en route to Pittsburgh.

As a result, the bobbleheads will not be distributed at tonight’s game, but will be distributed at a later date.

I live a 5 minute drive from the Iowa Heartlanders arena. My girlfriend, who is from Hong Kong, has been to 3 games now and she is finally starting to accept the normalcy of leaving your trash under the seat and shouting for the coach to be fired when the home team starts losing.
