Quoted: I’m on a group chat with a bunch of current pilots who said it. Not sure which one. Another one is extremely junior too. As in if she were a guy she’d never in a million years be selected for this. View Quote I think they’re talking about the F-14 pilot who lost control at the ramp on a single engine approach. RIO got out but she ejected into the water hard. She had been a problem child in training but TPTB pushed her through. Syracuse ANG unit had one. Patsy Schroeder (rot in Hell) said they WOULD have the first female F-16 pilot (maybe it had something to do with the unit nickname “The Boys From Syracuse”). So, they handpicked a girl and she had all kinds of problems. In the meantime, the squadron picked a candidate to follow her as the second female F-16 pilot. That girl breezed through training and they held her off from full qualification until the other one made it. I think she finally qualified but the second candidate was already fully qualified and flying missions with the unit. Everything woke turns to shit. |

I don't care as long as they are capable pilots. So what... don't care about the nfl anyway.

the most important lesson of equality is that we're not all the same

I am just remembering the many threads here over the years about guys congratulating female pilots, saying how awesome they are, fap jokes, etc.
Now look... A few of them are together and everyone is offended. |

Now it is time for the NFL to step up to the plate and replace all the players with women and cheer leaders with Trans-Women.

Gonna be expensive when they fuck up parallel parking at 40,000 feet

funny, that isn't sexist at all. All men flying is sexist, all women flying is not?
The double standard is fucked!!!!! |

They gave the guys off to watch the game, and really who gives a shit. It’s not like they just threw some unqualified person in the jet, there are plenty of women pilots.

For pity sake...next thing you know we will be allowing these women to vote.
Why does shit like this make the news? |

Does anyone really care ? It is not like I can see the pilot

Flying a jet with your vagina is hard. Give 'em a break.

Saw a short news clip about this last night while watching TV with the GF.
After it was over I blurted out, 'Good! Now get the fuck back in the kitchen'. She was not amused. |

I don’t think many would have an issue if women were selected because they had earned it. The issue for me is the team was selected based on whatever merit the Commodore or Skipper or whoever chose. And then the SECNAV specifically said no to those deserving dudes and selected unquestionable less qualified pilots due to their gender. Less qualified because one had a hook slap at the ship and another is super junior and a guy with the same experience would never have been selected. Also, I wonder if day one of a war with China if the first sorties will be women? Not directed to you or your daughter……I’m just rambling in general. I just wish people could be judged based on merit and not other things. |
