Large convoy of Belarusian military vehicles heading for Brest near the Polish border.
Worrying signs from Belarus in the past 48 hours. Fears grow of a RU-BEL invasion of Ukraine along the Polish border to cut off access to western weapons deliveries.

GUR together with the fighters of the sabotage group "AZOV" conducted a special operation near the border with the horde. For strategic purposes, the railway bridge was blown up, along which the occupiers aimed to adjust the supply of their units with ammunition and provisions |

I agree with the feeling, but unfortunately Putin & his cronies don't care about the poor SOBs that Ukraine is holding and wouldn't give a damn if they were treated the way Russians treat people. The better play is still to send POWs to nice (but secure) destinations and advertise how well POWs get treated. Some number of Russian grunts would surely evaluate where their better fortune lies. |

Back in the late 80s and 90s, sometimes we'd boat over to the Stockton port as a break from waterskiing. Seeing a Soviet freighter loading up on grain was a common sight. Now, I cannot remember when the last time I saw one. |

Yeah. Because Western Europe (and the US) was in such a hurry to stop the last Holocaust. The only reason they stopped to liberate the camps, was because they were on the way to Berlin. |

Provided it's true, I'd think the most obvious reason would be to crush resistance. They can't resist if they're physically removed. I don't know that it's worth the international pushback they'd get from it though.

Make them try to put the giant train back on the track every 10 miles. Sheer determination can accomplish a lot. Use a cutter to get through the tracks in 2 places 20 ft apart. Use a shovel to remove a whole bunch of dirt from under the tracks but leave it looking normal. It obviously sounds primitive and wyle-e-coyote. But I'll bet it would cause a derailment. How long does it take to fix a train derailment? How fast can they move after it happens once? |
