I happened to click back on the tab to see if coverage was back on and there were like 25 overweight black chicks twerking. Wasn't expecting that

And, unlike the Packers’ offense, the Eagles’ offense takes advantage of the turnover and punches it in.

And fuck the NFL for sending two teams across the world play on some slick ass soccer stadium turf. Ridiculous.

The last time a QB won his first SB after losing in a debut was 27 years ago in the 1997 season when John Elway won SB XXXII in San Diego.

Before Elway was Bob Griese, and before Greise was Lenny Dawson who might not count as he won an AFL Championship before Lamar Hunt created the Super Bowl.

Jordan Love got rolled up on by a d lineman, didn’t look good. Assisted off, so hopefully it’s a sprain or something of that nature.

ProFootballDoc says:

In the final seconds of the Week 1 game, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an ankle injury, with video analysis pointing to a possible mild left high ankle sprain. The injury appears less severe since it affects his front leg, which is not as crucial for pushing off as his back leg. This detail could play an important role in determining his availability for future games.

...

As Love makes the long flight home from Brazil, managing the swelling will be key. With extra rest days ahead, there’s hope that he can avoid missing Week 2. However, even if he suits up, his mobility will likely be limited, potentially impacting his overall effectiveness on the field.

Good thing they traded a draft pick for him

And because the game was in a third world country, we’re going to have wait even longer to find out the medical status of Love’s injury than we would otherwise.

His leg got torqued sideways by a defender on the ground while another guy was tackling him high.

I don't think you can blame that on the field.

Jordan Love update

It appears a left ankle injury has been ruled OUT.

This usually also includes the fibula (lower leg bone) fracture as well.

The most likely injury he is dealing with is left knee.

We should know within the next 24 hours.

Order of most likely possible outcomes given video of play:

1. Torn MCL +/- Meniscus
2. Torn ACL
3. Dislocated kneecap

I think the Patrick Mahomes style kneecap injury is the best case scenario here.

That's a fair analysis. I can say from personal experience with #1 and 3, he is done for the season. Blows the SB prediction up, hate to see it.
