Who knows, Musk might be in the position to just fuck-off to Mars and tell the government to kiss his ass by then.

Damn, we had a crystal clear night tonight here too.

What crazy times we are in though. Sitting here on the coast, not knowing if tomorrow will bring civil war, cutting up a car hauler ship using anchor chain and a ridiculously huge crane. Stop to step out on the back deck to see a manned rocket streaking through the atmosphere....

Well shit.

Supposed to be a cold front moving through right around launch time.
Still has not stopped people from seeking out a viewing spot , traffic has already picked up on US#1.
Expecting 250,000 visitors to the area today.

Probably early since it's a manned flight.
Local news has been on it since 7 a.m. with break-in updates.
Weather is a concern.

So excited for this.  It still saddens me that as a child of the late 70s/80s, I’ll never see Earth from space.

That came across wrong.  I’m praying for their safety and for mission success through its duration.    I’ve been waiting for today since DEMO-1 left the ground.

The black boots are a nice touch.  Helmsman should be wearing gold top, Captain, green with gold, engineer in red, and science in blue.
