Hello Sa/oU.
Who left the gate open on the hump day enclosure. They got out and drank all the bathtub Gin we were making.
This is going to take a while. They look about as motivated as you all sound.

Storm has arrived in Maine, view from my office window.

Valentine's Day date got cancelled due to weather.

Decided I'm going to call rent-a-man & order a 50 year old gun-toting male that puts out.

Ugh…very pissed off & frustrated……more snow Saturday into Sunday & again on Tuesday.

IF anyone is looking for me, I'm heading into hibernation with a big bottle of whisky.

First must make it home, going to be a slow & slippery 25 mile commute.

Be safe girl.  Sorry to hear about your date.  I know you are used to this, but will it ever let up?

Roads look bad already.  A early happy Valentine's day. Keep us posted.

Mucho hugs from here.

Thank you M1 & Terry.  Terry, are you home today out of the elements?  Feeling better?
Home safe, all hunkered down with my 2 little boys & ready for foot and a half of snow.

Sa/oU friends that reside in the path of this storm please stay safe & warm.
Going to take a long, hot shower then couching it under a warm blanket with the boys & watch the Olympics.

MissB, if only I were a thousand miles closer . . .

Big bright full moon shined on me all the way here . . .

Excellent pics as always, M1.

Happy Valentines Day Sa/oU peoples!

Our "paperless" society strikes again. It was a hassle getting copies of cancelled checks dating back several months farther than I can print them online. And it cost me $3 per check, on top of a missed hour of work yesterday.
Now I get to fax this big (and expensive) stack of copies, a whole sheet of paper per check, to someone who's machine will print another stack of copies. Given that the actual cancelled check was maybe 1/6 the size of a page, a whole lot of paper will be wasted just so someone didn't have to lick a stamp each month . . .

But I don't care, it's Friday!!!

Happy Valentine's day MissB.

For JC, I would have smacked him upside the head with a monkey too. I keed I keed.  Kids will do that to you though. Wake up early.

Thanks for the compliment Terry. I was playing around with my macro settings. I have only had a decent camera since November.
If I ever figure out how to use it, you all better watch out. Flowers for MissB.

Where are all the Sa/oU peoples this Saturday morning?

I was beat when I got home last night,. After taking it easy for a couple of days, yesterday was the day from Hell at work.
I was in bed asleep by 9:00.

Which was a good thing. At about 2:00 am a possum decided to invade the wall behind the tub in the bathroom and raise all sorts of Hell.

I went out to try to see where he got in, and blow his furry little ass away if possible, but the slow rain that had been falling most of the night suddenly turned into a downpour and I had to come in.
Things got quieter so he may have found another exit when I started shining lights.

Finally got back to sleep about 5:00, up again at 9:30.
Drank a whole pot of coffee while I charged up my dead phone and computer.
Started bugging people.
Put away my domestic anti-possum artillery . . .

Spending the long weekend housebound. Lucked out yesterday, snowed all afternoon & last night; only got about 6 inches of light fluffy stuff, YAY!  Out of room for anymore snow, Mother Nature took her snow globe & emptied it out on the East Coast.

Hopefully the front porch will hold up under the weight.  Tried to shovel that mess & it's a frozen block of snow, NO way.

Have a great Sunday Sa/oU friends & big hugs from frozen Antarctica Maine.

Terry, sounds like you need to dump a friend or 2 from FB.  Too much gun stuff my fat, fucking ass!

Nascar Daytona qualifying today, GO Smoke.

It's beautiful there, MissB.

As for my 'friend', after my private response to her "concerned citizen" comments, I don't think I'll have to deal with her again for awhile.
Although I may be on a new 'list' somewhere . . .

Got under my skin though, shouldn't have.

Many of my long-time FB friends are professional musicians, some can be a little out there, but they're great people.
Their political ideals are not my business, we don't talk about them.

Some friends are gay or lesbian. Either openly or privately.
Their preferences not my concern, to me they are no differently than anyone else.

Others are just strange in their own peculiar ways. Which is good, life would suck without them.

I've always practiced a "live and let live" policy and we don't get under each other's skin.
I won't block anyone for disagreeing with me, but pick a fight with me on my page and your gone.
That's only happened a couple of times within my little gang of weirdos.

OTOH I used to have about 50 ARFcommer friends, now there are seven eight (forgot one). But that's a whole 'nuther story . . .

Honestly, when Lucy died, I seriously considered folding it all up.
Same when Christine left (another long story), I was heartbroken.

But I have just enough 'good' friends to keep it worthwhile.

FWIW: If any of the Sa/oU peoples would like my FB info, IM me.

Have a pleasant Sunday, Y'all!

Just posted to FB.

Camelias for Lucy . . .

Also a fresh bed of white sand (found a bag in the shed). With no grass growng, the heavy rains had splattered mud all over the stone. Maybe the beach sand will keep the black dirt down until I can put down some pea gravel around the edges

The Camelias are going crazy with the weather swings, the reds are loaded now but with the warming weather many of these will fall before the buds fully open.

Last week it was the whites, Lucy got a big bouquet of white camellias on her grave.

I miss her.

Terry, you made a most beautiful memorial for Lucy.
M1 WOW, you take such crystal clear photo's, brings to life the allure of Arizona.

Candlelit dinner for 1 to share with 2 little boys.
Little Chili Pepper sleeping on mum's chest, he's such a loveable boy.

Dream sweet Sa/oU friends.

Found out today that I maxed out some PTSD score at the VA

Also found out that I have 1783 rounds of 22.  I think I'm going to shoot some, shortage be damned.  At the same time, a friend and I are going to try skeet shooting with our home defense shotguns.

Hang in there sweetie, you have love & support of family not to mention strong camaraderie here.  Sometimes scar tissue is a heavy burden to bear, the weight can seem unbearable; PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out.

It's always good to know what you have stocked up. I hesitate to take .22 inventory, far as I'm concerned 1 can never have enough.  Working on stocking up SHTF supplies past 2 weeks.  Already have a few thousand rounds for Spring/Summer @ the range.

Buy cheap & stock deep.
