Perhaps this is why? PSA isn't on the list though.

The topic came up today about bringing back a few of the original lowers, but I told them I would run it by you guys first. We wouldn't bring back the PFG. It would be more like the Space Force, Snek and a few others. There would be a minor difference in either the selector or the drawing so someone could tell between v1 vs v2. Let me know your thoughts and any possible objections.
Thanks, Josiah |

I would definitely pick up another one or two Space Shuttle Door Gunner lowers.
|
|

I think PSA had at least two versions of each (space force and PFG), slated for production back before things changed.
See below. Attached File I'm good with however you guys feel comfortable with proceeding. |

I do not know.... for the full auto setting needs to say "Mag Dump" All good Red Edit to add - seeing your question about bringing back some lowers. I do not have the PFG or the Door Gunner - to be fair to the people that have them - call them done and keep makeing the ones in the pipeline. Think that you need to get off the "current right now BS" like the shatpants and the AR-14 ones - to me they have limited appeal - go more towards the cool timeless ones... Love the Snake, Space, Minutemen Series Would love to see you honor the fine men in the National Guard and put one out for them....my dream lower would be the one honoring the Florida guard with the "Fort Logo" - but that is just me....could do a state flag for us other States... Keep on keeping on! (and taking my money) Red |

I don’t really like the idea of changing the design though, maybe an asterisk can be added to the SN or something like that? |

For sure has to have a change to be different than the first run. Snek was popular and will probably be the most popular you sell. Space Force is second to that and personally I would like to see a continuation of that series rather than a re-do.

I would not create any reissue lowers unless they were differentiated from the originals. And I mean in an obvious manner, nothing surreptitious will do. Just my feelings.

I think if the original listing at the time of sale was that a particular item would be a limited run, then leave it at that. Dont sell something saying "limited to 500", but then come back later and re-release it with 8700 more of them. Think of all the customers you'd lose!
I would be all over some if they were continuations of the series. Related, but different. |
|
|
While bringing back old designs would sell well and give the people who missed out another chance it would sour the people who were told it would be a limited run. We already had a few people upset in here about getting an SN higher than the production number - ex SN-5011 if only '5000 made'
I do think there is room to bring back the old themes with new unique artwork. Reminder to look at the lower list page 550 for past/present/potential designs. |
