They actually pulled a bicycle rider over for doing 16 in a 15mph zone  Last I checked bikes don't have speedometer. I don't ride bikes anymore, but I'd be pissed for getting harassed going 1 mph over a the limit. What a joke |

on a single-track trail shared with runners and hikers, I have had a few experiences where bikers were riding at unsafe speed and had caused foot traffic to "dive" off a trail. I have been in an altercation with one biker, who couldn't understand the trail system he was on...had trail rules bikers yield to runners, hikers, everyone yields to equestrian traffic (it is posted at every trail head). it seemed unfathomable to this special individual he should consider others while biking on a shared trail ...so for dick heads like that, yeah give them a citation.

Didn't watch the video, what is the speed limit.
One path I ride has a 15mph limit. The funny thing is, the people who break it are mostly Amish. They all have really nice electric bikes and use the path to commute. I don't see many Amish pedaling anymore. |

I just get a bit tired of the bashing on cyclists when 95% of them are just fine (oh maybe like other groups of people....well many not Harris supports lol). Sure there is that few cyclists that are truly assholes to people and cars...which I have called them out when riding. It is funny since 99% of them try to ride away from me and that does really not work well. |

Believe it or not most traffic complaints are citizen generated and traffic enforcement is a response to those complaints. Traffic enforcement is something that is generally done between other calls for service. Most of police work skews towards taking reports,not foot pursuits. With the current trend of citizens wanting more officers that "look like us", you're going to see more females and non-traditional people in uniform at many agencies |
