green doesnt work in the winter when everything is brown and dead. Brown also works well in the fall and spring, when most is dying or growing.

Those jungle utilities aren't OD, they're OG. OG107, to be exact. I was able to wear a set exactly ONCE before they were discontinued. Best field uniform EVER.
edit: Uniform in the 2nd pic is really faded. |

I have a few ammo cans full of cheap OD green mags that match this ranger green nearly perfectly. If that's the new name, then it is what it is. It doesn't really matter what they call it I guess. |

I find OD to be too deep and dark while RG seems a bit lighter and blends better with the lifting. I personally like RG because it looks good with ACUs, all the MCs, woodland, or civilian clothing. That's more fashion than practical camo. However, if you are trying to pick a color for great for its ability to blend, just get it in MC and call it a day instead of trying to game the solid patterns. |
