Please stop...you're showing your ignorance. Oregon is fiercely conservative everywhere except Portland and several towns in the I-5 corridor. Washington is the same.

Outside of those few cities in those states, you won't find one libtard in 10,000 people.

And yet your state votes consistently libtard?

It's cute that all you folks that have visited an area are experts.

I'm from Florida, lived in NH for seven years, and PHX for nine.

Live where you want. Love where you live.

I do. Finally.

I can respect that.

FWIW, I see a lot of people here shit-talk FL and the rest of the South, so I don't think it's all that unfair for me to do the same from my perspective.

And yours will too once the felons start voting.

Also, how's your gun laws.

Just a quick Google search shows that Washington state gun laws are the same as Florida, but I'm assuming you're allowed by daddy trump to have short barreled shotguns, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Quick edit:  LOL.  Totally spaced that new laws have passed here regarding firearms.  But like I said, all gun laws are an infringement so who gives a shit.

Oh, dude, don't get me started on that shit. I will never live in the South again simply because I love where I am, but I'm from LA (Lower Alabama, aka the Panhandle), my mother's people are from AL, and my dad's people are from KY. I'm a proud Southerner. The stupid shit I've heard said about her makes me livid. I've know quite a few people that won't even go there, because they think they'll be raped and lynched.

If you could take Seattle/King county and pick it up and throw it in the fucking ocean.  Washington would be better off.

I was stationed in Floriday for 3 years.   Beaches were nice, weather was nice. But it sucked ass compared to what the PNW has to offer.

The funny thing is even in king county if you get 15 minutes out of the city it's like an entirely different world.

I feel you. Our dreams were dashed a couple of weeks ago on a cabin up on Hwy 2. It would have been our sanctuary outside the city right on the river at the base of a mountain. We went to bed thinking it was a done deal and woke up Saturday to find out a cash offer came in later that night and beat us out. It would have been the ultimate 1-2 punch with our Seattle home, but honestly, I would have spent as much time as absolutely possible out there.

Damn i'm sorry to hear that. Keep looking, you will find that forever cabin!

Unless you're looking at the same ones I am lol.

I mean instead of railing on our non-existent income tax there are a million things in Seattle you could rail on.

Most here would support you! I'm guessing even those that grew up in Seattle.

You know OR outside of Portland is awesome too.

Correct, and having been to the Rogue River area in Oregon, it's nice when it's sunny occasionally. BUT....

1) People are far more suicidal in the PNW for a reason...No sunshine and dreary as purgatory.
2) Property taxes are stupid and higher than hell
3) Regulations suck and getting suckier everywhere they go
4) Beaches suck compared to ANYWHERE in Florida...ALL DAY EVERY DAY
5) State income tax there, none in Florida

I can go on and on....

I drove through the Great Smoky Mountains once with my wife.  I was still looking for them when everything got all flat again.  I was like WTF, where are the mountains?  Turns out I HAD driven right through them and thought that they were foothills.

Seriously..."Great" Smoky Mountains???  More like the dinky little mounds....

The Pacific sucks.

It's cold as fuck in the Lower 48, and it's shared with China and Russia.

The Atlantic is the ocean of history and Western Civilization, and the beaches are way better.

I was born and raised in a South Florida that is no more. I say live where you want to live. You might as well.

I ended up in South Carolina in my journey from UF to where I am today. I'm okay with our sorta mountains and sorta beaches, but I get out a little more than that. I live where I can be relatively free, and visit the places where I cannot.

P.S. I'm not above couch diving on a fellow UF grad's couch.
My wife isn't either.

Your post is more retarded.

If you’d rather live in China or Russia than the EU, you’re either ignorant of culture and politics or just fucked in the head. Also, a few of the countries you listed aren’t even on the Atlantic.

You're fucking crazy or eating at shit holes. Seattle is on par with any major city in the world when it comes to food. Coming from someone who has been to NY, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Tokyo. Especially if you like Asian cuisine, Seattle is great.

Of course that is about all that Seattle is great for. Food and a couple entertainment venues.

Yeah, if JEL thinks food in Seattle is shiiit we need to know what shit JEL thinks is food.
