Quoted: I believe it took a Billion to build, though not sure if that includes the required remodel, but probably includes the graft. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, Navalny had a great investigative documentary, Putins Palace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMxqTae75Fs View Quote IIRC I saw a documentary on that palace. It had airflow/humidity/mold problems out the ass. Supposedly it was not a liveable environment for anybody. |

Quoted: Quoted: A communist scumbag has nothing to do with Christianity. Like Biden, Pelosi, Obama and Kamala? There are basically only two types of people in the whole world. Those accepted by God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ and have their sins expunged. and those who have rejected God and His Son's salvation instead preferring to be judged holding onto their sins. |

Quoted: 16 levels underground? I'd be very surprised if there is 'stuff' on every single floor, because we're talking the square footage of a decent sized office building (except buried underground). What the guy might've meant is there is a nuclear/SHTF bunker that is 16 flights of stairs down. View Quote We had the Greenbriar hotel/ bunker for decades, and now who knows what and where replaced it, so it actually wouldn’t surprise me one bit if his personal lair (only) had 16 underground levels, which most certainly include command and control spaces along with medical facilities… |

Quoted: Putin doesn't hold a candle to them. Iraq alone - 500,000 civilian deaths and all for a fake premise. ... View Quote Yea, anytime a 2 bit dictator decides to "annex" a sovereign nation like Kuwait or other major oil suppliers at will and control the worlds supply, we should just hold a civil suit. The same kind of legal action that was suggested by many of our politicians and the media after 9-11. There is not a single thing, including the lives of 3,000 Americans on US soil worth waging war, when we can just talk to tyrants to reason and win their hearts over. ETA; Bush 1 had it right; You bomb the crap out of your adversary and leave his middle east shithole flat to make it look better the next day then how they've kept it for a century. Bush 2, and BHO policies of retaliating and then wasting years of US lives and resources being there are what causes the resentment expressed here daily. I get that. Don't confuse the 2 different strategies. |

Quoted: Dude, I want DavidA back, trolls these days don't even try. View Quote I have to at least admit I think Dave was onto something with his view of history, that most revolutions end in terror and bloodshed (reference the Bolshevik revolution and French revolution), and that the American revolution was an anomaly, in that it didn't end in a lot of blood letting, except for on the battlefield of course. Quoted: America: Entrepreneur Russia: Oligarch America: Cruise missile Russia: Suicide drone View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: America: Entrepreneur Russia: Oligarch America: Cruise missile Russia: Suicide drone There is a bit of a difference between an Oligarch and an Entrepreneur. Suicide drones are much different from cruise missiles and both the USA and Russia have a lot of both. American missiles and drones seem to not target apartment buildings as much as Russian ones, do you know why they're doing that? @milspectoilet Quoted: Putin doesn't hold a candle to them. Iraq alone - 500,000 civilian deaths and all for a fake premise. Everyone involved got filthy rich. Nobody knows how many civilians in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Egypt... Who knows how many civs killed in South Ossetia war sponsored by GWB and company (another failed coup) ...or how many civilians we killed in Kosovo when we bombed every bridge on the Danube river and attacked their electrical infrastructure. Wait, now anti-American groups are right? Russia murdered 7 million Ukrainians in one year. We haven't even addressed their own secret police, gulags, and other genocides Russia carried out. |

Putin isn't going anywhere, he is paranoid and has spent decades removing anyone that could possibly challenge him. Even if someone were to replace him that person would be just as paranoid as Putin is and their first piece of business would be to remove anyone that could challenge them. He is smart enough to know that at this point he either helms the SS RF as it sinks or runs aground, or he gets merc'd a bit after someone is installed to replace him.

Quoted: Bush, Obama and Biden are just as much war criminals as Putin. What now? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes I have to admit I see the Iraq war in a bit of a different light since the war in Ukraine began. Knowing people you care about that are actually from the country and are being affected helps to give you a new perspective. There was a lot of protesting and opposition to it back in 2003 and onwards, but it was also not long at all after 9/11, and the memory was still very fresh and the thirst for payback still warm enough. Quoted: Russia murdered 7 million Ukrainians in one year. We haven't even addressed their own secret police, gulags, and other genocides Russia carried out. As others have said already in this thread, life is rarely just, it's not like a disney movie where the good guys always win. The USSR was on the winning side in WWII, yet probably killed more innocent people than Nazi Germany, but because they were on the winning side, there were never trials of NKVD that carried out mass executions of innocent civilians or POWs, and Stalin didn't commit suicide like Hitler. |

Quoted: Quoted: A communist scumbag has nothing to do with Christianity. Like Biden, Pelosi, Obama and Kamala? Don't forget the current pope. Curious to see how Putin's replacement will be. They usually tend to be worse than the ones they are replacing, despite we always think it cannot be worse than it is. (e.g. we currently have a corrupt and senile pedophile playing potus when we thought it couldn't be worse than the inept drug-addict turd before Trump). |
