Shit bags, but floyd is a bigger shit bag. 600 mil worth of damage, 18 deaths, and 900 officers injured. All over a fuck who was on meth and just could not sit in a back seat? Get the fuck out of here with this bull shit. Terrorist is the only way to explain antifa and BLM now. |

Everyone used to understand that downtown businesses and tourists kept the whole city going; that if they left, Chicago would be on the fast-track to Detroit 2.0. Then, over the last 5 or 6 years, they started having one or two "wildings" per year down Michigan Ave, but nothing like the level of violence seen in late May and on Sunday night. As I mentioned before, I've been going to downtown Chicago for quite some time, usually staying on Michigan Ave. There were cops all over the place, and order was always kept. Used to be if you stayed out of the south and west sides you were as safe as anyplace in small-town America. |

I'd guess there has to be some legal finding or decree to get out of paying for those losses. Most of the places hit are part of some of the biggest retail operations in the US. I guarantee they were insured to cover Sunday's losses. I also guarantee that after being hit twice in 9 weeks, their premiums skyrocketed or they had policies canceled outright. |

The man was in the beginning stages of actively dying when the cops arrived. Had he not been so squirrely and told them what he was on, he might have had a chance. There was a respectable attempt at resuscitation for someone who was in asystole. ***As an aside, it must be nice to do CPR on someone who's ribs don't crumble into 546 pieces with the first compression.*** |
