 Squad, I headed out to the local DNR range for some recon in the hot and humid Alabama swamp. Went last weekend and was shocked as again this weekend. All 80+ outdoor stations were full. Last weekend as I was driving up I expected it to be small crowd with ammo availability being slim. All 3 elements were represented with the bulk of people shooting to be women. And I mean all sides were represented. Allot of folks appeared to have never fingered a hot firearm before as well. I felt a slight bit of tension in the air, all unspoken but not normal gun crowd there. Figured I would send a few rounds and get a feel for possible riot load out. Above are today's dance partners. |

The one in Clanton is the wild wild west, and the one in Helena is like a paid membership range with RSOs, and super nice facilities. I actually prefer the wild wild west one

Was hot and the bugs are relentless in the swamp and no wind can get to that area. But I like it, it's has that Dodge City element to it as well. It has no RO's so anything goes
