https://www.theconeyislandblog.com/2020/12/18/nyc-restaurants-to-ban-cuomo-from-dining/

Struggling restaurant owners city-wide are permanently banning New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo from setting foot into their establishments.

Effective immediately.

According to bar owner Larry Baird “ He can eat at some shitty roadside diner outside of Albany but he will not be served anywhere in New York City, known universally as the world’s greatest dining destination! If he has to use the restroom he can go pee on my street-corner! That’s what he wants anyway!”

When Election Thread meets Riot Thread meets Kung Flu thread we'll hit critical mass and blow the world to hell.

And we have then crossed the streams, never cross the streams, it would be bad.

I think I've probably brewed upwards of 30 gallons some years.  It's a hobby that can be as cheap or expensive as you want to make it.

You can make some seriously good beer for an upfront investment of less than $500 and certainly $1000 if you wanted.

My main expenses getting started.

11 gallon ss brewing kettle
Propane burner
Immersion Cooler
Fermentation bucket
Cleaning/Sanitation/SterilazationSupplies

I bottled my first batch or two and quickly decided that was a giant pain in the ass.

So if you are not going to bottle you need to keg and then you need a place to keep them at serving temp and a Co2 supply which is more $$ so add a kegerator or you need to get a freezer with a temp controller plus some kegs, a Co2 bottle with a regulator and gas and serving lines (ie: taps).

It's a fun distraction and I really enjoy making beer and drinking it with friends and family.  It's a great feeling when someone asks "you made this? really?  I'd buy this in a store/bar!"

Look for Grand Prix. James Garner did all of his own driving in that movie. The extras about 60's formula one driving were also excellent.

China is very strategic about doing this too.  They concentrate on coastal countries first, particularly ports, transportation, energy and minerals, while offering infrastructure improvements (among other things). The Chinese know that once they have an interest in, and own the debt of most to all coastal countries, they subsequently end up owning, by default, the landlocked countries as well. Inner continent Africa supply chains run through Chinese majority owned ports, obtained via debt default. Those landlocked countries either play ball with China or their logistical supply chains get cut off.

They have done the same in South America. I have posted in another thread, and maybe even here too, an info-graphic of both Africa and South America showing all the countries in which China has significant holdings. Essentially they "own" all the coastal countries, so to speak, on both continents.
