I've seen the ALS hearing go either way depending on the administrative judge. A good DUI attorney helps at the suspension hearing, too. By submitting to SFSTs and chemical tests, you're incriminating yourself. I don't condone DUI, in fact I despise it. I despise it as well but that's the advice I've heard for nearly every state. Deny them your essence. The ALS business is not a joke in every state. In Ohio for instance, you will get a one year suspension unless you get lucky and the LEO that nabbed you screws up the ridiculously easy paper work. Implied consent is bullshit, and DUI is blown way out of proportion. Drink and drive, I don't care. Injure or kill someone, then throw the book at them. While I agree with your last statement, I've seen enough that I consider it incredibly selfish to drink to impairment and drive on a public road. Generally the people that do it habitually are people who never think they're at fault, drunk or sober. No one wants drunk drivers on the road. The problem is in defining what's "drunk" or impaired. One is my limit if I'm driving, and that's rare. I notice that in restaurants as well, and parties, reunions, etc. I then factor that with how many people are on prescription drugs, or mood enhancers, or addicts, and that's why left lane campers are angry when you pass them on the right. |

On - it's a 26" Bartlein marksman contour on a Rem 700 action. If I were you, and I'm not, so take this with a grain of salt... I would use your body to really work the copper out of it, neutralize the copper stripper before I put anything else down the bore, and then take it out and fire some rounds in a group to foul the bore, and shoot a series of groups to see how it does, running a wet patch and 4 dry (this is just my superstition, you pick the number) after every group. I don't really subscribe to "break in", but I have seen it make a difference, especially after pulling the copper out of a barrel. And, this part especially, I'd take a hard look at the optic. |

If you paint, remove or tape off everything you can. Remember, tan is good, tan and shadowing is good, black is a silhouette in NV. People make recommendations on camo colors or paint. Its normally all good, but remember, you can always add natural veg or make it darker. Its damn hard to make shit lighter colored in the field. |
