I've mentioned this cat before, Dr Ralph Baric who was doing bat Corona virus gain of function studies at his UNC infectious disease research lab here in NC BEFORE he was shut down. That was all sent to Wuhan, China then.

While other ordinary people became superbly distinguished leaders, out of necessity, being forged as such in whatever battle they were fighting. Leaders are born with the characteristics of charisma and decisiveness, but develop wisdom and perseverance as they grow. They prove their loyalty and integrity on their own battlefield, whatever that may be. A good leader inspires people and inherently develops trust in, and in turn inspires trust from, their compatriots/subordinates. Leaders speak up and do the right thing, whatever it may cost them, but also listen and take advice from other people who may have better ideas. Leaders are not brave because they are fearless, but in spite of fear they remain brave. Very well said, recently I've spoken to local community members in a brutally honest manner, and was surprised that many actually shared my concerns about where we are heading. I call shenanigans in public when I see it, and was surprised at the support that followed when I spoke out. |

If you graduated high school in 2008, you got the Bush bail out and then 8 years of Barry O. Some became successful, some incurred crushing debt to earn a useless degree. Considering what they were handed, I can understand why the middle tier of their generation feels like they got fucked no matter what they tried. |

Like politicians and controlling elitists all over the world, they wore masks for the PR photos. Then there are numerous photos of hugging, smoozing folks and nary a mask in site. Screw that noise. |

The vast majority of people have lost the ability to think for themselves. They are too busy working two jobs to support their families, too stressed over whatever it is media is telling them to worry about, etc. to actually sit down, research stuff on their own. Therefore they take the easy route of adopting the position/views of "respected" authorities. We've been raised from an early age - mostly - to believe people in positions of power. That learning is hard to overcome even when the hypocrisy of those in power is on display for all to see. |
