All I have is a beat up 1945 M44, and no ammo for it.
Bought it cheap because it wasn't one of the refinished ones. I think it looks way cooler that way. |

I sure am glad I didn't sell my AKs. I actually thought about it once, but whew! glad I kept them now. Also, I just went too hog wild on ammo for them back in the salad days - it would have been a PITA to try to sell just all of that.

I have quite a bit of Russian junk. If I could send it to some acquaintances I know in Kiev, I would. Unfortunately the ITAR NAZis would probably bust my door down and shoot a neighbors dog (because I don't have one right now) if I did.

Russian bino's some guy on Snipershide imported a long time ago.
I liked the glass better than my friends' expensive Leupold when we compared them. Other than that, I haven't used them.

This is a magnet, where I’ve stored my beer caps since 2006. It came out of a piece of gear that has been shown destroyed in some of the Ukraine threads.

A few trinkets I picked up in Russia during the summer I lived there; a birch bark painting and a Naval Officer's Cover. There's lots of other things here and there but these are the two within eyeshot.

My meager collection.
 I just wanted a new sun hat that would stay on when I’m surfing. This one is great. When I ordered it the ‘Masking Suit’ was on sale for $20. It’s about as thin as a handkerchief, but I figured it would be nice over shorts and t shirt when my son wanted to play informal airsoft in the summer. I’m going to get a Ukrainian flag pin for the hat just so there is no confusion. The knife is a Kizylar Supreme. I bought it after the sanctions of 2014 or so. It’s not marked ‘Made in Russia’ but I’m pretty sure that’s where it was made. I like it a lot and carry it on more formal times. It’s not a hard use EDC. |
