This thread reminds me I'm shotgunless right now.  I bet that I could trade my WASR-10 for a nice auto shotgun sometime late November...

Im having problems with this. Had some in an ammo can. My shooting buddy went to a class with his Mossberg 500, had the magazine tube lock up twice. Full of the buffer material.
I opened several boxes in a new case, they were covered in the grit also.
I'll post the photos later

I fully admit I find shotguns to be disgusting relics of yesteryear.

That said, WTF does having a mish-mash of different loading in the tube as you describe accomplish?  Never understood it and never had anybody explain it in any way that made sense.

If I were to be using a shotgun it would either have #8 or slugs in it, cause that's what I have around

I don't understand the guys who put different types of ammo in it though, it's not like during a stressful situation your going to remember what kind of gas is in the thing

Your neighbors, or maybe your kids behind the perp in their bedroom?

Don't have any. House is stone three sides, load is #4 buck, frangible. Any more questions?

10.3 Cult is the go to though, 64gr BSB over 26gr CFE223 to do the dirty work if necessary.
