I guess we don't have to worry about federal bans for a bit. Hopefully no more COVID lockdowns and unrest.
Prices and demand will drop? |

Absolutely nothing. Don't expect sudden price drops or anything special. We may see some adjustments if Trump stops the ridiculous dumping of money and arms into Ukraine but that's about it. Hopefully we can import more ammo and components. Otherwise, keep stocking up, we wont hold the office forever. Now we have 4 years minimum to shop smart and keep stacking deep.

Probably bankruptcies, mergers and acquisitions, and consolidation.
Pretty much the same trend in every industry. |

I’m hoping for the prices for revolvers and 308 ammo to go down and free suppressors for everyone.

I'm worried about local gun shops. I saw a few new ones pop up after the peak of COVID panic.
I saw the same after the Sandy Hook panic. There was one that closed right before COVID. I think if they'd just held on a few months they would have been good. |

Don't forget bump stock bans came about on Trump's watch and IIRC the brace ban was being discussed in 2020 (although no action was taken for a few years). Both of which were ultimately rescinded but the point is I don't trust anyone in Washington as far as I can throw them.

Slump in demand means the industry will be hurting, but prices will drop.
The question is whether energetics will drop after we stop sending arms to Ukraine. |

the left will be buying up as to resist going into re-education camps...then they will sell everything and prices will drop...

That would be presuming the companies didn't go out of business fighting while it in court. Worked out for the brace guys so it seems, but not so much for the bumpstock guys. TBH I'm not sure they thought that far ahead to come up with that plan. |

2024 has been a strange year in the industry, it has more slow months than usual. There was never any panic buying prior to the election, and there isn't any movement after.
I think most manufacturing and retail sectors to pick up from the enthusiasm , and expectation that the dipshit dumb and dumber duo's time will soon be over, and better days are coming back. |

Prices are going to have to drop to stay competitive and keep product moving. Obviously purchases will be down. I am a big collector so my purchases will probably increase. But the fear of missing out folks won’t be there to run up profit margins. As said earlier the boutique gun manufactures are totally screwed.

Trump need to appoint Vance as his gun man. Then he needs to do what he says, rather than listen to even one anti-gun idiot. Part of the problem is, Trump is not a gun guy to begin with so to him it's not a huge deal.

Nothing, everyone will breathe a sign of relief. I don’t think we will see a Trump slump, I think the market is already in kind of a slump due to day-to-day expenses.

I predict the bottom will fall out and there will be slashed prices and killer deals on nearly everything. The lead up to the election saw relatively stable prices and pretty much anything you wanted could be found with ease. Now, individuals who were hoarding and hoping to make a profit are going to be flooding the market with surplus ammo and guns they can no longer justify keeping around. Also, prices were probably only propped up to where they are currently because retailers were holding strong trying to take advantage of the impending election. Combine all of that with a decreasing interest in guns by the general public now that T$ won, and I don’t see how things won’t go that way. Hell, it seems it has already started. I got an email today from Arms Unlimited for a $2700 SCAR 16S. The last time new SCARs were going for under $3k was like 2014 after the Obama panic died down. It’s the stupid camo color scheme, but still…$2700 for a new SCAR? That’s nice.
ETA: People are also poor and the hurt is only going to get worse before it gets better. Prices are going to have to come down big time. |
