The ship quick disconnect has already been modded to compensate for the added height of the hot staging ring. Elon's going for hot staging, next launch. |

I don't know what their plan for the runoff is - but seems to me that capturing, filtering, and reusing would probably be cost effective. Of course, a ditch and a pond probably need permits. Of course, the envro-weenies will try to say water vapor is hazardous pollution. Plus we all know that H20 can kill people...
Need to get my ass back in gear so I will be ready to go camping for another launch. |

Did their deluge system just put out the rocket?

So cool, large vapor cloud. Think they said, 4 engines shutdown early. Good data either way and the deluge system is still there.

How long was it supposed to go?
all 33 engines ignited, 4 shut down

Wow! Somebody get a squeegee!
So now the next problem might be that all that runoff from the deluge system will wash away the entire Boca Chica beach? That’s a LOT of water! |

Sorry if its been discussed, is there a large water storage tank like a water tower or something close to the ground and they use large pumps to get the water volume to the pad?
