Not sure - but seems the FAA has a hard on for SpaceX because SpaceX is not using a goverment launch site for Starship. That said, I don't think the Goverment wants them to use the Cape - their competition really does not want them to use the Cape. All bets are off if Starship becomes operational - so the bribes are probably flowing on this one.

Yeah, I didn't think there would be much trouble in noticing it. |

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.' And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! |

History illustrates that once it gets in it usually takes nothing less than a full on barbarian invasion burning everything to ashes to get rid of it. We could probably use one of those. Not this piddly onesies, twosies, redsies, blusies nonsense going on right now that just entrenches the power of the existing tyrants. |

It’s… probably not as bad as you think it is.

That makes about as much sense as having the Navy regulate commercial boat traffic. Give it to the Dept of Commerce or something. |

That others may think |
For nearly two years, SpaceX has voiced its concerns with the FAA’s inability to keep pace with the commercial spaceflight industry. It is clear that the Agency lacks the resources to timely review licensing materials, but also focuses its limited resources on areas unrelated to public safety. These distractions continue to directly threaten national priorities and undercut American industry's ability to innovate. |

Good. Let's see SpaceX go lawfare on them.
