I think the implication is that the prisoner in question ended up back at that facility as the result of bureaucratic ineptitude - he was supposed to be shipped off to some other factory / prison facility, but they accidentally shipped him back to the same place. Hence why Kino and others kept mentioning dying “if not here, then in the next place” - it was clear that prisoners were being cycled through multiple different facilities at that point.

Andor has shown the shitters in the prison cells.  They fold down out of the walls on one side of the cell.

I’m thinking for these final two episodes, we’ll see Luthen make a narrow escape from the ISB and Cassian head back to Ferrix to lead a bombing mission through that old passageway that Marva hurt herself trying to open.

In episode 9, Cassian says something to the effect of "I'm going for my run". He goes into the bathroom, puts the lid down on the toilet, then opens up the wall panel and starts cutting on the pipe.

In the first episode of Mandalorian, the first bounty he picks up (blue alien guy) asks to "use the refresher".

Those are the only notable toilet references I can think of in SW.

He had to know it the entire time. Which makes the scene that much more tragic.

Disney Wants You to Watch Andor So Much, It's Putting It on Network TV and Hulu

Most people agree that Andor is the best Star Wars anything since the first season of The Mandalorian. It seems the powers that be over at Disney+ do as well, as the company will be making the first two episodes of the show free to watch on the ABC, FX, and Freeform TV networks, as well as the other Disney-owned streaming service, Hulu.

What’s interesting is that of all of Disney’s other Star Wars series, it seems the company believes Andor is the best candidate to get people who aren’t Disney+ subscribers to sign up. Not Obi-Wan Kenobi, which featured the return of Ewan MacGregor as the titular Jedi and Hayden Christiansen as Darth Vader, nor the return of everyone’s favorite bounty hunter/chump Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett. Instead, they chose the slow-burn series that best showcases what the Star Wars galaxy looks like from a much more grounded perspective, and without feeling it with distracting fan service. It’s a good call!

The first two episodes of Andor will become available on TV and Hulu on November 23, the day before Thanksgiving, as well as the day the season one finale becomes available on Disney+. Here’s where and when to watch:

ABC: Wednesday, November 23, 9-10:30 pm ET

FX: Thursday, November 24, 9-10:30 pm ET

Way before Andor arrived.  Probably not many shifts into his own sentence.
ETA: Also during the initial revolt, Kino stays on the floor even when yelling for the others to get on the tables just before the floor gets sparked.   I think he was somewhat hoping to die there so wouldn't have to face the reality of not being able to swim out.

I was wondering what the shift managers get out of their rooms winning.  I thought perhaps a day off their total?

Also, I was rewatching the prison arc and in the first episode one person at table 5 says something about him giving them a pass, he's done it before - which implies that frying the least performing table is Kino's choice and not strictly by the guards.

Hm. Could be, it’s been a while since I’ve done a Mando rewatch.

Is there anything in the Star Wars canon that tries to explain how people on several day journeys in vehicles like X-wings or Mando’s latest ride, uh. evacuate? Or eat, for that matter.

‘Vac tube’ is what he called it in that episode.

There was another episode where he said something like ‘anyone who needs to use the privy do it now’

X-wing flight suits probably have evacuation capabilities.

Either they don't take that long of trips or the hyper-drives are faster, being on such a small craft.  It's a good thought and points out another reason the N-1 is terrible for Mando's occupation.

I don’t know about that. In the first episode he’s looking for his sister in a brothel and it was stated there had been a Kenari woman working there recently.

If Kleya was Cassian’s sister, why wouldn’t she try to contact him? She certainly knew of his existence.

Leia is in (at least) one episode of Rebels. She arranges to have three hammerhead corvettes “stolen” by the rebels. So she is helping the cause, just not doing James Bond shit.

Luthen’s countermeasures remind me of the “metal storm” weapon system.

I'm starting to think that Jedi Temple Guard mask in Luthan's shop was his. It'd be an easy way to explain why we never saw him before, and escaping Order 66 is easily explained away.

And that Fondor Haulcraft he flies, looks to be a kyber powered hot rod. That scene was cool, although I was perplexed as to why a TIE Bomber was deployed against him.
