Appreciate it. Guy could jam and it was a respectful rendition.

This album, and their live concert in 1976, was the 1970's for me.

I don't know if it was the music of that time or just kids being creative idiots, but it seems to me that making up your own lyrics was easier then.

"Is anybody going to San Antone
or Phoenix, Arizona?
Any place is fine just as long as I..
....can forget I ever boned her."

"We had joy...
..we had fun..
..we we streakers in the sun,
but the sun burned our balls...
..so we wore our overalls."

Good memories.

EVERYONE loved her.

Lynn was the real deal.

Sweet as honey, SoCal beautiful w/o makeup

F'in Glenn Frey took her up to Hollywood and almost killed her with coke.

Miss July 1975.

Happy Ending - she survived and lives a private, healthy life.

This is a recent picture of one of our local surfer girls from the '70's.  (Her younger brother was Eddie Katz, a famous skateboarder on the Logan Earth Ski team.)

Living in Florida now and still surfing.

A lifetime of sun, fun, and healthy living and always a happy, total sweetheart.

In her mid to late '60's now and totally natural.

Back in '73, 12 year old me got a '71 Precision (Thanks Mom!! Still loving you!!) and I tried to model myself on James Dewar of Robin Trower.
Little Bit of Sympathy (2007 Remaster)

ETA: adding the title song from Twice Removed from Yesterday, which is their first album. It seems the guitarist from Stone the Crows needed to be electrocuted first, and then Dewar could join Trower and Isadore, and in the future I will post the love songs of the band.

This is from Blues Image, 1970. It was a pretty good album as a whole. I don't remember any weak songs.
THE BLUES IMAGE "Ride Captain Ride" 1970 HQ

ETA: just wanted to add one more song. This one is a love song, but a mighty powerful one at that. Probably scared girls who were into Bobby Sherman, Davey Jones and David Cassidy.

I got more, Bitches!!!! But, I haven't posted this much in over a decade. Time for sleep. Or something else can look for "el fucko" Gary Glitter and Rock and Roll Parts 1 and 2, plus James Gang!! Need some of that James Gang; Funk 48 and Funk 49, Stop, there's a lot of good ones. I'll look for Jefferson Star Ship "Light the Sky on Fire."
But, here's a song by "The Baby's." It's a song so good, I removed them from the "Kill them when the Revolution Happens" list the song was that good. James Taylor was on the list as well until he came out with Fire and Rain. Saved his ass.
THE BABYS - Isn't It Time - John Waite

The rest of us can dig this version which is not as neato as the above version:

She was special although she was one of thousands of perfect beach girls in the '70's.

This one now has grandchildren, but is still sweet and beautiful.
