I'm not aware of any way, beyond outright perjury to a directly asked question by the court, that a juror could ever be made criminally liable for a verdict. They could go back to that room, say "screw all of this, we decide by rolling dice" and be fine with either verdict they rendered. Unless the judge asked them if they were using dice and they lied. There is no way to prove or repudiate a statement of what someone thought about in deliberations. I don't think there is any admission they can make now that will in any way endanger them so long as they couch it in terms of "reasonable doubt" which they have turned on its head to "unreasonable concocted excuses" in practice. |

This guy had to stand there, get a barrage of questions from counsel about all sorts of deeply personal stuff ... because he's conscripted to do so ... and then Reddington calls this guy a liar? There's a lot of general questioning in jury selection, a lot of "by a show of hands" stuff, some "if you're comfortable answering in front of everyone" stuff, but for some jurors, there's even more questioning behind closed doors - sensitive subject matter stuff. The truth doesn’t matter people believe what they want to believe. I’ve been fighting this battle on the book of faces. Of course the algorithm knows what triggers me so these things show up on my timeline. I’ve seen a lot of posts that link a legit factual story on this and other topics. The poster will write a few sentences giving their take on the story they linked to support their argument. Commenters will go nuts because it’s what they wanted to believe without even reading the story the poster linked. The story they linked will actually have facts that prove their take was based upon lies. Their own link literally debunks their claims, but no one cares. They aren’t reading the story only the few sentences the poster made. The link is there so suddenly their comments have legitimacy in their minds. If you tell a lie and it’s what the left wants to believe they will run with it and repeat it thousands of times. By then no facts presented to them will change their mind. You can make a meme with a fake quote and since it’s what they want to believe it’s now fact even if you debunk it you will be outnumbered and shouted down. It’s insanity. |

As usual, the left is clinching to this case in order to keep advancing its agendas and doesn't even care to make it subtle, let alone hide it. Some "jurors" already brazenly declared they "wanted to advance the feminism agenda" and the "defense lawyer" also brazenly disclosed information about the dissenting juror that, if situations were reversed, would likely had put the prosecution in hot waters, possibly facing disbarrement, if not jail time. For me, this circus is just one more evidence of how the "laws" are selectively used and how the media is just a propaganda tool. Considering the part I highlighted above, it's quite possible, if not very likely, that there will be some "copycat cases" coming up and used to further advancement of this agenda and more societal decay. We are dealing with beasts and the sooner the people on the right side of this contention wake up the better. As many already said, it will still get a lot worse before we see any light at the end of this tunnel. |
