I'd say that's some range and unlike most of the other actors named in this thread, she didn't just play herself in those roles. For each role her speech, dialect and mannerisms changed for the role she was playing. That's acting.

OP says name underrated actors. GD names huge movie stars AND actors who are lauded for their great acting. Unbelievable.

Sam Rockwell and Ben Foster are the best actors in movies right now. But, most people know that.

Amy Ryan is underrated as is Chelcie Ross. Agree about John Goodman. I think most people see Dan Connor but he has great range.

Ryan Gosling is a wooden Indian.

I suppose it's open to interpretation. A lot of the ones named though, are again household names. Hell, I had to Google the cast because at least to me, they're not big name actors.
