StockTwats wasn't the only place playing MVIS last week. There were some solid players making a bunch of buys and sells based on, who knows what. I didn't jump in because I was out of day trades on Monday. I kind of wish I had but I will not be touching this one with a 10-foot pole come this Monday. I don't know where the pump came from but it was pretty widespread. If the company is as fucked up as I'm reading, I can't blame people for scalping the gains. They won't last long.
And $5 per share? Not unless there is one hell of a reverse split. No way. No insider has bought since November, at a range of 0.75-0.85/share. I'd love for you guys holding this one to prove me wrong and make it HUGE! I just don't see this ride lasting much longer. |

Eleven million shares traded and range-bound. The discussions on Reddit, which is usually a ghost town on the weekends, got pretty heated. Shareholder insurrection vs. the "we must not be delisted, vote R/S" minority. One of the posters got hold of the IR guy, who told him the company would "love to see the shareholder's ideas!" Riiiggghhhhtttttt.
I'm personally waiting for the threat. They tried begging, they've tried cajoling. The next thing from management will be the "We will be forced to take steps..." DEFA 14A. It's all they know how to do. This is what happens when engineers play businessmen. That will likely trigger a sell. Looks like everyone is nervously waiting for the next announcement. There's a Hololens II event in Florida tomorrow, and the pumpers are working hard to make it the acquisition platform, but I strongly doubt it. One or two legit newspapers have picked up that "The Five" piece, which was hastily edited to remove the para where they claimed the MSFT CEO said it was "basically a done deal". Threat of being sued into the stone age will do that to you. BTW...if they go middle ground and an announcement of a postponement of the vote comes out, share price will pop. If you're still looking for an exit, you'll need to be nimble. |

Just sold 1/3 of my shares @$1.16 somehow and paid for my entire investment. Just profit from here on out with the remaining shares.
