Isn’t it 3 day trades allowed in a 5 business day period is allowed if your balance is below 25k in margin account?

So there has been no news to this that would drive the price down as it has?
Might be time for me to put more into it lol. |

We don't have any reason to be pessimistic going into the 1Q call Thursday. I would still expect a bit of a rally up to the end of day Thursday, but who knows. My thoughts are that yesterday was a dress rehearsal (for me) for any of the positive PR we might get from earnings or buy out discussions. Yesterday moved so fast and tested my exit thesis (did not sell any) that I learned a thing or two. The psychology of wanting a run up to the 30s and it actually happening surprised me. It was truly a test of my commitment to hold until a buyout. |

I finally did it guys. I sold the peak. I exited my position completely at 27.10.....with every intention to take my profits and roll them back in to MVIS once we find a new bottom, or in the next 2 days, whichevercomes first.

Originally Posted By LeadRX: So there has been no news to this that would drive the price down as it has? Might be time for me to put more into it lol. View Quote None. No news at all. But bear in mind there was none on the way up yesterday. If I'm remembering Friday's close we were a penny or two short of $18 from a fairly steady rise after the tech sector blood bath. Monday opens on no news and all hell breaks loose to the upside. Tuesday opens and all hell breaks loose to the downside. We're sitting about $1.5 up from where we ended on Friday, though I'm not sure the shorts have finished their attack and/or the panic is winding down. It feels like an emotional rollercoaster, because that's exactly what it is. We literally could have barcoded through to this point and everyone would be complaining about how dull it is. WSB and ST are absolute dumpster fires right now, mostly because they don't understand we're going to end up very close to where we closed on Friday. Huge swathes of them will sell at a loss, call MVIS a pump-and-dump, and swear it off - never stopping for a minute to try and understand they created the wave they're crying about. It irritates the fuck out of me because the MSM will gleefully point and say, "SEE! We TOLD YOU this stock was a sham!", and all the investors can hope is the damage being done to the company's reputation falls away as the situation shakes out. |
|
|
Someone run to WSB and make a gleeful post about how they're all paper handed suckers and thank them for letting you make hundreds of thousands shorting MVIS today.

Curious to know, from anyone who has the info, how it looks for the limit buy/sell info that's out there now. Any lines of resistance or support?

Had a little cash in the account from selling a call. Just raised my cost average on MVIS a bit by buying at $20

I think I want to go the Toyota route, perhaps 2014-2020 4Runner, Tundra, etc. I've had Nissan sedans since back in the day, not sure if I like their truck options - Titan, Frontier, what about the Armada (of course my wife wants an Armada). I might search for a Toyota thread in GD or start one - dpn't want to derail this thread and the shared misery of a stock price that just will not cooperate quickly enough. |

BTW, I could have just said we're up 12.7% on Friday's close, and left it at that, but sometimes you need to vent.
Sorry, feel better now. Second Moderna shot yesterday walloped my wife. Trying to care for her and two puppies is kicking my ass. Our doctor said her reported reactions from the second dose are running close to 50%. For planning purposes it's a really good idea to clear your calendar for a day or so afterwards. Weird, too, because the (mild) reaction I got took almost 14 hours to hit. Same for Mrs. Osprey... |

Putting another 10k or so in as soon as my damn tax money finally hits my account as long as we are in this range. Would have loved to have had that at $10, but timing wasn't there.

I actually told them to cancel after we they didn't honor the pricing they gave me originally, but it somehow didn't get cancelled and they just sent me a bunch of paperwork and a Bronco Parking Only sign, so I guess it's being built. It will replace a 4runner if I decide to go through with it. If the BO happens, maybe. |
