Mtn Dew. I was also a HUGE fan of Hubba Bubba bubblegum soda.
I never liked orange soda until one day when I was 17, I woke up at like 3am with a bad craving for orange Slice. I ran to the gas station and got some, and it was so good. I was addicted to it for like a year after that.

Grew up in Massachusetts it will forever be "so-daa" to me. My grandmother always called it "toxic" and she was the only one who got us kids the Cream Soda.

One of my favorites when I was very young:
Faygo Rock and Rye soda
especially for ice cream floats.

Giving away my boomerness. I see it is still made. Wonder if it tastes like it did back then.

I never preferred Coke or Pepsi as a kid.
Now if I drink soda its usually Sprite with a shot of Whiskey.

I mostly drink water or unsweeted tea.

Dr. Pepper. Worked at a service station fixing tires, in Texas in summer. At break time I'd grab an ice cold, sweaty bottled Dr. P from the old-time bottle vending machine.

Man, life was a whole lot simpler then.

BTW we called it pop, or coke, as in,"Do you wanna go get a coke?" "Sure!" , " What kind do you want?" "A Mountain Dew."

Now I usually only drink a Coke if it has the other half in it. (rum)

My dad always used the phrase "soda water" to refer to sodas in general. I have no idea where he got that and have never heard anyone else use it.
