I'm a big fan of the P-51 but I really like the Pitts Special too.

P-51 would be nice, but the Lancair was pretty sweet. Sometimes I miss being a ramp rat.

This is my dream WWII plane.

Focke-Wulf 190. I have some sort of autistic obsession with that aircraft.

Luckily I already accomplished one off that list.
Got an incentive ride in an F-4C for winning "Airman of the Month" when I was at Luke AFB in 1980. It was awesome! I chose the B1-B. |

B-1 would be pretty fucking sick. A-10 goes without saying, and I've always been partial to the F-15. I've wondered, given the extended lifespan of the F-15 and the continuing programs to upgrade it, why we don't revisit the F-15 ACTIVE and S/MTD programs. Thrust vectoring and supermaneuverability? I mean, why not?

My grandmother worked on them and my grandfather saw them fly overhead when he earned the silver star. 19-1 baby! |
