By the end of the season I was kinda glad it was over. But yeah, having a non-bitch boy MC certainly was nice. There are a number of anime series that use Shibuya as the location for major battle scenes (for example, The World Ends With You The Animation).
But the battle scene in Night Head 2041 episode 11 probably ranks among the best of them (that I’ve seen, at least). I’ve been mostly only lukewarm at best so far about that series, but somehow I really enjoyed that battle a whole lot more than I would have expected. |

I watched Midnight Eye: Goku I & II this week. They're a fun bit of 80s cheese (set in the FUTURE YEAR of 2014). It would probably make a couple decent stories to reboot for some better character development. They're about 45 and 55 minutes each.
