The bulk of Demon Slayer S2 aired in 2021 so that’d be my guess. It can have Episode of the Year for 2022 though. A few months ago I was the biggest Demon Slayer hypeman in this thread and I referred to it as “the best active anime.” Spy x Family has since claimed the title.   |

Probably late to the party on this one but since I got Hidive I discovered The Demon Girl Next Door Machikado Mazoku and OMG I laugh so freaking hard every episode! I also love how Shamiko is styled like she's straight out of the 80's
On a side note, the Hidive app for Roku is pure crap but the web player is one of the best I've seen. I find myself watching it on my phone or computer over the TV

You need to have watched the movie or the serialized version of the movie. The first episode or two of the episodic version of the movie are new, the rest is for the most part a rehash. Apropos of nothing - while watching the opening of the newest ep. of Shield Hero it struck me that my perception of what is ‘normal’ in the world has been subtly but irretrievably altered as a direct result of having watched so much anime, to the point that I found absolutely nothing even mildly remarkable or unusual about seeing a giant Chik-Fil-A entree precursor hitched up to and pulling a pioneer-style covered wagon down the road.
Would seeing such a thing IRL even lead to as much as a momentary double-take? I have my doubts. |
