I used to know a guy who breed ostriches. One day he got cornered while cleaning the pen, after his hen had laid some eggs.
Anyway, he ended up in the hospital for a few weeks. He was lucky he lived through it. Worst part was, he had to kill his hen with a shovel to survive. |

Saw one in the wild in northern Queensland. I wouldn't mess with them. Of course, I wouldn't mess with ostriches or emus either. Any bird that is as big as you are should be seen at a distance.

We'd get good and drunk then climb the fence and piss of the Emus. First man back over the fence was the chicken. We did a lot of stupid shit back then. |
